Carrie Bean, Shop Worker
I started fest in 2003 as a pizza wench for CKC. I continued that position
in 2004. In 2005 I found myself working at a wonderful little shop called
The Enchanted Hat. You can find me there again come 2006. In real life
I am a nursing student at the U of M working on becoming an RN. |

| Denelle Beauchaine, Former Festie
I worked as a stitchwitch in the costume shop 1997-1998, and Trail of
Terror in 1997. If you are familiar with the Punishment Costume, it was
partially my idea. Then I ended up moving to I ended up moving to Iowa
and getting married, and having 2 kids, Vladimir and Lucretia. While I
haven't managed to make it back since, I still really miss working there,
and I'm hoping that we'll be able to at least visit next year so Vlad
and Lucy can experience it. denellekaim@yahoo.com |

Jason Beaudoin, Street & Villification
Tennis I've been doing faire since 1988; my first renfest ever and I am "attacked" with barely understood innuendo within minutes of entering the faire, later that day witness the Rat Catcher go through a woman's purse with gusto and panache: I haven't missed a year since. Worked several years at Arms & Armor. 2003 was my first year on the
cast as Sir Robert. 2004 I played Jack the Fool and finally got paid for
insulting people: playing Vilification Tennis. 2004 also saw the start
of Jester Leather; enough folks asked where I'd bought the mug I'd made
so now they're for sale |

| Susanne K Becker,
The Dregs & Vilification Tennis Shannon Josephine Odison Hello to one and all, I am back again for more! The heat, the humidity, the bugs, the rain, the interesting tan lines, the frostbite on my toes, the late nights and early mornings can't keep this girl away! My charecter, Shannon, returns for her third season with her "family" at Mac's Pub, singing her heart out to one of many song styles availible at Mac's Pub to you, the audience! She also looks forward to spewing all of her angst and man-hating-love-of-the-fight nature at another promising year of Villification Tennis. Come and see the PubKin (NOT Pumpkins!) at Mac's Pub, just feet away from Como Cottage and the Mud Show. (pretty much smack dab in the middle of all that, actually ...) This coming season (2003) marks my 6th season at the MNRF, and I look forward to many, many more! Take care my brothers and sisters, and I shall see you all out at the faire! |

| Bre Beem, Patron
Let's see...I started working out at Fest back in 2000 with the Shakopee
Jaycees selling beer in Mac's Pub. I stayed out there through 2001 and
then decided that Fest for me was more enjoyable as a patron. I like to
spend money and catch all the shows. My last trip out there was in 2005
with my sisters, boyfriend and his little brother, who now both want to
attend Fest every year hence forth. We plan to be out there again in 2!
006 with our bundle of joy Guinevere Lenora Merritt, so that she can see
what she has to look forward to ever year from here on out. |

| Katie Beery, Shop Owner Folio Scriptoria I served their Majesties for 24 years in the Hall of Scribes and was
known as Folio Scriptoria. I oversaw the many activities and demonstrations
at the Hall from 1982 until 2005. In that time, I performed more than
1500 "scripted" free classes for countless patrons who were
eager to learn Gothic lettering with a broad edged pen. I wrote many thousands
upon thousands of free bookmarks as did many of my colleagues who I was
able to employ during a time when MRF understood the value of providing
truly historical demonstrations at their themed event. During 5 of those
years, in addition to operating the Hall of Scribes, I co-owned shop #638,
Sherwood Calligraphy. I was proud to be a Master Artist and to have received
many awards including: Festival Spirit, Visual Image (Highest Honor),
Costume and Gardening. In my life after Ren Fest, I am collaborating with
my long time calligraphy partner and best friend, Kris MacDonald producing
only original calligraphic art. Seeking a more updated name for our business,
we are now called: Off the Page. |

Johnny Behr, Royal Court I have been working at the fair since I was 12. Starting hawking shows for witchwood. One day a great man by the name of George Herman took this young punk under his wing and taught him what it means to be noble. |

Laura Benjamin, CKC Mistress Bianca Well met to all!! I am Mistress Bianca. I have been attending MNRF for
almost 10 years and have been a patron for 7 of those years. I worked
for 2 years behind the sceans sorting tickets. In 2004 I bacame the Seller

| Katie Bennett, Street Lady Ambrosia Julianna Rose I worked for CKC in 99 and 00, from than real life got in the way a bit but I attended as a playtron with the Lady Ambrosia a scandalous little noble who liked to flirt with anyone she thought was cute, and take a gander at as many butts in tights as she could. Than came college and a minor in renn period history, and a lot of busy work jobs doing restores and such with artifacts. Than came marriage and trying to convince husband really those party rumors you have heard are not true at all. I have finally managed to make my way back this year where I feel at home! And am slowly reinventing Lady Ambrosia, with hopes of auditioning for next season! I am back to fest this year having had my audition today and will be
at Academy on June 28th yay. Katie@scamperfarms.com |

Josh Berg, Former Festie I started working with the Royal Guard in '97 the beginning and the end of my festival career in 2001. My ex wife, Alyssa had my son, Garrett in 2000 so I took that year off as one of us had to take care of the little courtier. I made so many friends with my years of the renfest, I was in the fencing
competition a few times, did the Human Combat Chess match and loved every
minute of the Royal Guard even when we were fully decked out in wool marching
in 100 degree heat. My year in court was one of the best out there, so
much to do in a day that you don't have time to be bored and so many new
friends made. I have returned as a playtron every year at least once,
and I am thinking that I will come back in 2009 with my son Gary in tow. sirdarling@gmail.com |

Jerusha Rose Bergstrom, Shop Worker ~ Catskill Mountain Moccasins I don't think I've ever missed a year at MRF. I started attending with my family at a young age. I started working for Catskill Mountain Moccasins in 2001, and I'm happy to call them family and friends. I hope to continue to meet new people that put a spark in my life. Outside of fair I am a fine artist who specializes in the horse and human relationship. I am also a student of Natural Horsemanship and own five horses which I try to play with on a regular basis. Someday I hope to! become an instructor for the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Program and help people get better relationships with their horses.

I've volunteered on and off at Fest for nearly a decade now with a nonprofit called Kid Tracks selling soda and lemonade. I fell completely in love from the first moment I entered the festival gates with my Gran when I was a wee little girl back in the early 80s... ahhh, what wonders occurred in the 80s!!... and I've been coming back ever since. I look forward to meeting and playing with each and every one of you Lovelies. Blessings upon us all for another truly magical CELEBRATION!! |

| Tracie Biegler, Street Lady Lucide Grace Kinnard I've been out at MNRF for years now, (should be 7 but I took 2002 off)
I've worked games (fencing booth) as well as CKC (Rogue Chicken and Lemonade
near joust track), and Jaycees beer (BLT and Queens). As of 2005 I a hoping
to gain my footing with street as I am tired of being someone else in
a confined space. I am hoping to have a lot of fun for years to come with
the festival as well to expand the friendships and aquaintences I have
gained and to enjoy many more. |

Linda Bittner, Como Cottage Amethyst / Loreli I started working Fest with the Jaycees selling beer in 1989. I have
worked pretty much every beer pub the Jaycees run at Fest with the exception
of Dragons, Macs, the relocated Blue Lion and the new Queen's Pub (yes,
I did work the original Blue Lion and Queen's Pub). For the most part,
I was found in or behind Foaming Stein (600). After 10 years selling beer,
I moved to Como Cottage in 1999 which makes 2008, my 20th year at Fest.
I started out showing snakes and helping with the turtles. Now, you will
find me "babysitting" the turtles and tortoises in the turtle
pen - facing the guard camp. If I am not there, I am probably visiting
the beer pubs, watching a band or visiting/helping at Alexander Creations.

Thomas Bliese, Street Nostrathomas, Wizard? Sometime [most time?] participant since 1980 - missed a few years here and there - former stage performer, usually at Treetop. Presently plying my trade as whim takes me, although I seem to partake of the Smoker on a regular basis. Oh yes, I'm often found playing with my snake - and the patrons - at Como Cottage. |

| James Bly, Playtron
Well I've been coming out and playing at fest for going on 12 years.
I enjoy the chance to catch up with friends who I only get to see a few
months out of the year and most often I can be seen wandering around the
arena and the two chess boards or propped under a tree with a book. Feel
free to interrupt me if you do see me. The tree isn't going anywhere.

Judy Blythe, Street I am Judy Blythe (used to be Matheis), otherwise known as Lady Sybil....although people often forget the 'Lady' part. Gee, I wonder why???? I have worked out at show since 1989. In '89 and '90 I was a hawker for the "Hawkers Workshop" created by Beth and Gary "Swanee" Swanson. I hawked for Seville Sandwich. Gods I miss them. After '90 I wanted to be out more, sharing my unique personage, so I went to academy. I struggled initially with my character who was a peasant 'Ariel' who was a 'nutcracker,' she never really developed. In '92 (I think, it is all SO fuzzy) the queen (Kim Raths at the time) needed a hand maiden as hers was ill. I did that for a weekend or two, was then a stand-in for JoAnn as an extra lady... definitely NOT replacing her... so I played the Marchioness of Pembroke for a few weekends, then I was Ariel also... it was all SO confusing. It was really Kim that named me Sybil as she couldn't keep it straight who I was that day. I was in the court as Lady Sybil and in the Court Revelers for awhile. In '97 I broke out as an independent, and '97 was nominated for Late Bloomer. I was a street liaison/Production staff since 1998-2002. I really love being a street performer, it is the best drug ever. In 2000 the gods were smiling and I met a wonderful man at MacGregor
Games, did you know they have those there?? We fell in love and I married
David Blythe in 2002. Festival provides many interesting friends, family
and blessings, I am honored and thank the goddess to have worked with
every one. |

Penn Bowen,
Street ~ Peasant My family and I started in 2005 at King of the Log as volunteers. Prior
to that we stumbled around as patrons but I had always wanted to be apart
of the goings on. I can be heard loudly informing people, sometimes in
French, they need a good beating and enticing them to a roll in the hay.
Pillow fight! |

| Matt Bowerman, Musician Silverwind Greetings... My Lady Wife and I have had the pleasure of visting from
Scarbourgh Faire in Texas the last couple of years as guests of Meghan
Brunner and Mark Christopher. We have performed with their band "Celtic
Not!" on those occasions and we are planning at least one trip per
year from now on. We would like to be included on the list serve so we
can follow the events there. |

Susan Bowler, Formerly with Safety Services I started out shagging bocce balls at the bocce court, and occasionally playing featherball after hours for any of you who can remember when..... In more recent history - 2001 was apparently my 10th year with Safety Services - or so I've been reminded! Time really does fly when you're having fun. |

Amelia Boysen, Shop Worker My aunti had a childrens clothing booth for quite a few years, my mother
helped at a friends booth, and I was always fond of costumes and bad accents.
I started at festival in 2003, working at Wizards Wax Works up near front
gate. Definately addicted, and hoping to eventually have a jewelry/costume
shop with a good friend. Currently dating rennie Shane King, who works
over at Veggi Justice. I make jewelry, and during the year I am props
mistress for Minneapolis's Rocky Horror Picture Show cast, Transvestite
Soup. Everyone is more than welcome to come and harass me at work. And
a bonus, I run around in my underthings most of the time. lovelydahling@aol.com |
