Meg Kat Faundeen, Fencing Booth I began working in 1999 for a friend in the games area. My first day I met the man who is now my husband, Trevor. The next couple of years I worked for a crafter, and continued to enjoy the trials and tribulations of FEST. I took 2002 off due to pregnancy. My first year I was introduced to many in the Fencing Booth and became friends with many of them. As of 2003, I have made a home with the Fencing Booth, and do not forsee a change anytime soon. |

| Spencer Faust, Apple Macintosh, Scotish Jester extrodinaire I was born a small black child in Mississippi... Wait, no I wasn't! *ahem*
I'm a college student, currently attending the University of Minnesota
for a BA in theater arts (One more year!). I've been in two mainstages,
playing Demetrius in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and a shmorgas board
of characters in an arena theater production of 'Arabian Nights'. I've
done a small bit of theater outside of the U as well. Earlier this summer
I was in a fair near Duluth (Twig) playing the same character I'll be
using for this fair. I've been wanting to be in this Fest for a few years
now, but have never known how or where to audition. My general comment
is that I'm awesome, does that count? |

Tennis Don Antonio Miguel Cardinal de la Noche y Borjia, Father General of the Military Order of Santiago, Papal Nuncio to King Henry Don Antonio Miguel Cardinal de la Noche is the second son of Don Juan Alajandro de la Noche y Castille and the first son of Dona Angelina Maria de la Noche y Borjia. Being the second son entitled Don Antonio to nothing. Zero. Zip. So he got sent off to squire for the Father General of the Military Order of Santiago-one of a many fairly distant relatives. Doing this until admitted into the Order as a full-out member, he became a gentleman of note by being fearless in love and war. Until another bunch of relatives came knocking on the door, that is: Rodrigo Borjia, also known as Pope Alexander VI. Needing someone to do his dirty work for him, his Holiness made Antonio a Cardinal; something that Antonio was not entirely thrilled about as this cut into a lot of carousing time. Don Antonio is a charming fellow that is addicted to beauty of all forms and is a man of many passions. He can make a friend of many a man; speaking and drinking with them as they were old comrades-in-arms and wooing the ladies as they were long-parted lovers. He has something of a fiery temper and if he feels that anyone's honor has been infringed he will not hesitate to challenge the offender to a bout in the fencing ring. Originally sent to the Village to serve as a papal spy, Don Antonio has become enamored with the way of life and the intrigue available in the day to day affairs of the Court and the village. In the Real World... My name is Nathan Favilla and I've been involved in Entertainment since 2000. I assign full blame for this to Mike Heck, Scott Petersen and Mary Sterling as they were the ones that looked at me and asked the question, "Have you ever thought of auditioning for the Renaissance Festival?" I started out with the last incarnation of the CKC Hawker program in 1999 and then moved to the Puppet Troupe--thanks Eric!!!--and Human Combat Chess Match in 2000 as a fight partner to Bonnie Glander; May her spirit fly forever free. I spent 2001-2003 working in and out various places from Vilification Tennis -- YOU GUYS FRIGGEN ROCK!!!--to the Royal Court which rocks with a great deal of grace. In 2004, I returned to the Human Combat Chess Match and in 2005 I found a home at the Wine Show as the co-MC with the lovely Anna Sawyer and the wonderful craziness of the CKC Staff and the supporting musicians. Giving that up to the two comedic goddesses that run it now, I entered the realm of academia to which I am emerging from temporarily. I've been out on a part-time basis over the last few years and can't wait until I'm able to come back out full time again. This Festival has been the source of a great deal of ups and downs over
the years. I've gained friends and I've lost them with equal quickness.
There are spots on site where I'll always look at with a fondness and
there are locations where I cannot help but to shed a tear. The trials
are continuous but Festival will always have a place in my heart. |

Vanessa Fedde,
Safety Services Night Crew
I started at fest in 2002 just to spite an ex-boyfriend and here I am 5 years later updating my bio again. That year I worked in the corporate office performing data entry tasks for the Michigan festival and working the Queen's Tea reservation table during the run. In 2003 I was the banner carrier for Dan Thompson Fyne Arts, which is a much harder task then one might think. 2004 I began with entertainment with a pretty lame character, 2005 brought another lame character and also finding what worked for me. You see one sunny day I was chatting with a booth worker who also bellydanced, she said I should be a gypsy, she brought me a costume the next weekend and the rest is history. 2006 saw me as a Scottish Gypsy running around bellydancing to bagpipes with a bowl of fruit on my head. It also saw me at the beginning of pregnancy. I also was somehow conned into working for Colin Dunn as the night crew SS backup dispatcher. |

| Patricia A.
Fischer, Street ~ former Court Revelers Lady Cantelopé Whichway Started Fest in 1987. Born poor in Ireland, Cantaloupe is a bit of a social climber. She managed to catch several husbands with her wonderful cooking skills, each husband a little richer, and a little higher-standing socially. After marriage, she serves them her specialty, poison toads-uh-wild mushrooms, oh so delicately prepared. Last one to bite the spores was Lord Honeydew Whichway of Melon (she changed her name for him). While only minor nobility, she got her title and enough money to be happy for a while. Occasionally, Lord Whichway's family will throw her into the convent (there, she becomes Sister Regretica) but she always manages to get out. Because of her penchant for making an easy buck, Cantaloupe has been purchased by Queen Mumsie to be TRH Puph and Phluph's Antie Up. Pat hates cooking. She loves eating, entertaining at Feast, and all the great people that inhabit that little chunk of Shakopee for seven magical Autumn weekends. Unicorn 1998 (Of course, the first year since '87 I did not attend the award ceremony!) |

Patrick Fisher, Street Patrick the Apothecary I first attended the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, as a patron, back in 1995 for one day, and fell in love with the place. In '96 I came out as much as time allowed and started to change into a playtron. After getting to know more people, and having fun with them, I finally worked out at the fair. My first job was at King's Kites in 2001, and the next year I volunteered at the information booth run by the Chaska Civic Theater. In 2002 I jumped over to entertainment. I'm street entertainment and I play Patrick the apothecary, or alchemist. (Explosion? What explosion?!) |

| Brian Flavin, Street The Irishman I have been out at fest since 2001, I started working at a booth, and
have been on cast for 6 years. My character is your classic drunk belligerent
Irishman, in a kilt. I can easily be found at the Beer Tastings (surprise). Most
everyone knows about my health history, and why I walk with the cane.
So, I spend most of my time home creating sculptures, and other artistic
pursuits. |

Jerry Franklin, Street Jerold Spoonmaker My character is an itinerant spoonmaker. My only act is to sit under a tree and carve wooden spoons. I keep a low profile and tell stories to those who approach me. In 2003 I'm rolling out an additional character, "RevDoc the usurper, the man who would be king". I expect to spend some time in the stocks for this one! It will be fun baiting the sheriff. I'm 44, single (bigamy is only illegal if you do the paperwork), a retired software engineer, and I run several businesses. I own the Chaska Ecovillage Demonstration Site Inc, (non-profit) a bit of river bottom where hippies and deadbeats can camp out. (Be sure to move your van every 7 days!) We are radical environmentalists dedicated to activism, education, and evangelism. It hosts "Willow Hollow Organic Farm LLC." I have started "Spoonmaker's Guild, Inc" (non-profit) where I hope to organize both the rebuilding of the BLT and an actors labor union. |

Lira, is a shy, backwoods girl who for unknown reasons never utters a

status and power over her. She disapproves of pirates and any sort of
thief or beggar, but there is room in her heart to accept them. |

When I am on my own, I am primarily a supporting character, and I'm always looking for bits I can help with -- don't hesitate to call on me and use me at any time. I also spend a lot of time as a "human speed bump" for musical groups that are playing to open air. During the just concluded 2006 season, I helped with the effort to resurrect
an active peasant presence. We should be a force to be reckoned with in
future seasons (think organized peasants and be very afraid!). |

Jo Ann is a wife, mom, classical pianist and accompanist, piano teacher, and church choir director, who is learning to play the harp. Joel Fuller, Former Festie ~ Terpsichory Dance Troupe Corbin Kevin Christopher is the brother of Constance Katie Catherine (Chris Peloso). Our father sent me to look after her, but she proved to be too much of a handful for me. So I sent her back to father for him to deal with. Every now and then, he sends her back to me, but I just send her back to him. 2001 marks the fourth year for the dance troupe and my fourth year as the co-director. I also spent the two years before the troupe as a playtron. At our shows, I can usually be found out in front introducing the dances and being poked fun at by the rest of the troupe. When not on stage, I (and most of the rest of the troupe) can be found just wandering about the village. |

Tracie Fullerton, Street, Vilification Tennis Antonia De Medici Antonia comes to the villiage along with her cousins. She is there for
the sole purpose of taking care of "business" for The Godmother,
Donna Claricia. She is the assasin of the Medici women and enjoys her
job a little too much (really...it's more of an addiction, she can be
found begging patrons for work if business is slow), she takes care of
the money and going after it and will gamble, she also makes people dissapear
when necessary...or when she sees necessary (which is when she's bored),.
Antonia is a bit hot tempered...actually, anything can set her off really!
She loves music, art, dancing, tormenting peasants for money. Unless you
are family or close to the family never call her "Toni"...that's
a one way ticket to sleeping with the fishes! |

Elizabeth Furr, Terpsichory
Dance Troupe I was part of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society from about 1997
until 2006. When I started I lived out of state and would just join the
group for one or two weekends each year; after a few years I moved to
the Twin Cities and have been much more involved with Fest since then.
This year (2007) I joined Terpsichory as a musician; I figure ten years
is long enough to do one thing at Fest. My new character, Eppie, may be
Scottish or German, I'm not sure which (I thought she was Scottish, but
she's giving me hints that she might be from the other side of the North
Sea). Obviously I have some more character development to do--for example,
wherever she's from, how did she become a court musician? Feel free to
play with these subjects and help me figure it out! |

Christopher Fyhr, Shop Worker I started fest in 96. I started working for CKC as a boothie. Then did Feast of Fantasy as an assistant chef. Then on to 800 area supervisor. Unfortunately a fire stopped that. Then spent a year with Seven Weekends in the newly remodled 800 area. And in 2000 I was given a foot fetish by working with Son of Sandlar selling leather boots. I will be there again this year, helping patron into boots that were made just for them :) |
