Eric Knight, The Concierg & Vilification Tennis I started at MRF in 1985 and was in the puppet troupe from 1986 through
2005, heading up the group for the last ten or so of those years. "I
like big heads and I cannot lie, you other peasants can't deny..."
Puppets are awesome. It should be illegal to have that much fun. But after
all those years I finally had a rare moment of creative inspiration: an
idea for a street character that I just had to do, so in 2006 I became
the village Concierge. I suppose I'll be due for another character change
in the year 2026. I pretty much welcome people to the village, recommend
shows and act like a helpful, customer service person which is essentially
what I am. I've been performing in Vilification Tennis since 1997. |

Adam Knoblauch, Human Combat Chess
Game I started MRF in 1992 with CKC for two years. After that, I began taking
classes from 'En Garde, Unlimited!'. Soon after I was enlisted into the
Royal Guard, serving for two years before working with the Royal Court
as King Henry's squire in '94. Although, once again, I found myself back
with the Royal Guard. 1997 found me fighting in the Human Combat Chess
Game for the first time. In 2000, due to outside work scheduling conflicts,
I took that season off. Coming back the following season. In '02, went
onto street and resumed fighting in the Chess Game, where I continue to
entertain to this day. |

My daughter started working with CKC when she was 14 & I spent so
much time out checking up on her that I signed up last year 2004. (She
was the CKC runner with the screaming yellow mohawk) I worked with CKC
as Supervisor of the Traveler's Gate Shop & loved it. I have been
hired on for the 2005 Season in the same position & look forward to
another great season. I am working on this year's wardrobe & appreciate
your website for ideas on moving away from the dreadful CKC loaner clothes.

Anna Kobett, Street Lady Mary Scott I started at MRF back in 1982 working with my son Charlie, who played a young French Prince, and I played his English governess. My character name has always been the Lady Mary Scott, but what she does has been altered over the years. To Diddle I am known as "Happy" Scott, so many people don't realize that it isn't my character's name. You will sometimes find me playing with children, or the Fairie Court, or the Royal Court. I seem to migrate towards the children and those who draw them! If the children have a good time the parents have a better time. That's my philosophy anyway. |

Jason Kobett, Royal Court
~ Peasant I've worked at fest for longer than I can remember. I've bounced from entertainment to independent games, and back. I've worked quite closely with Bill Lochen, first as his page, then later as his squire. When he left the festival, I attached myself to the Royal Court as the squire to his majesty, King Richard. My character was later found to be the legitimate son of the sheriff, and the nephew of the king. |

At various times I have worked CKC(ukh), Children's Trilogy of Games, shops, or just wandered aimlessly.

| Scott Koelbl, Playtron Punisher serving The Dark Cloud Army I have been a patron since I was very young, and wanted to go farther into MRF than a street clothes patron. 2002 was my first season in some sort of costume. I was also inducted into The Dark Cloud Army last season as Punisher. |

20 some years ago, I performed with a minstral group. I also sold turkey legs one season :) Now, I manage a coffee shop, as I look for my big break. 2003 is the first season I have concentrated my artistic vision on MRF. I take and digitally manipulate photographs. I mainly do portraits, with an emphasis on children. I have truly enjoyed my many visits this year and have come up with some (I think) great shots. I am interested in hearing any and all ideas concerning possible uses of my images as well as ideas about possible partnerships and/or scheduling shoots. |

Jill Kohn, Court Revelers I joined the Court Revelers in the summer of 2001 and came back for another round. Note the character name change of this year, from Rohesia Fenrix to Adelaide Fenrix. Roheisa just couldn't cut it as a singer and was thrown out of the group and now leads a life of degradation at a local brothel. Actually I was tired of no one being able to pronounce last year's name so I changed it. Though having people sing the "Adelaide" song to you all the time isn't necessarily much better . |

Barbara Koppang, Shop Owner ~ Putsina The Gypsy Face Painter I have been a facepainter with MRF since 1993...I can be found next to the Tree Top Stage in a tent. In addition to being a facepainter I also am a beadworker who sends my work to four other Renaissance Festivals (www.dragonwings.net) I use to have my husband working in the booth with me but now he will be found wandering the Faire with my youngest...She is known as Ragamuffin...Fairy Princess of the Patch and he of course is "The Muffin Man" or "High Lord Mother". Say "Hello" if you see them! |

Michele Kopesky,
Bakery Stage Michelina Mirabella Angelina Maria Panini I spent my first year - 1990 - working for CKC. I made it through academy in 1991 and spent my first year on street as a Woodland Child. I joined the Mayor's Entourage in 1992, and spent four years cavorting around with them. I then found myself at the front gate in 1996, after which I took a two year hiatus. I came back to the bakery stage in 1999, with my kids - Ianna and Joren - where I've been ever since, and I don't see myself leaving it any time soon. I love my family here. In fact all three of us do. |

Games Mieux I started working at MNRF in 2005 at Royal Exchange Jewelers. I've been
one of the many beautiful, feisty, loud mouthed, bawdy gaming hall wenches
at MacGregor Games since 2006. I love playing the games that we sell and
can often be found at one of the pubs around S. Mpls, with backgammon
or Fidchell in front of me and a crew of MacGregor shop folk around. |
