ChaRee started with CKC in 2003 at the Travler's Shoppe just North of the Joust Track. In 2005 ChaRee & Ben married out at MRF during Labor Day weekend. They hope to continue to work out there as life goes on and develop characters that will grow with the festival.

I recently moved back to MN in 2001 with my wife Christine Sutherland(Festie). That year I started working for Gemini Glass and now I am hooked. You can tell when I am passing by the sounds of my various tools and horseshoes clanging together as I walk.

Formerly: Sir Michael Alexander DeVille Ensign of the Guard, Johnathan Gravel and sundry other peasants Joined Fair in 1990 worked as a street character for a few years, moved on to work with the Robin Hood show then the Royal Guard. After several years in the Guard I moved back to the street as Johnathan the Grave Robber/Digger now I have found a new home in the Royal Court, and the Noble members of the Order of the Garter shocked me in 2004 by inviting me to become one of them. An HONOR I gladly accepted!

Doug Henry, Safety Services Started Fest sometime in the '90's volunteering with the Lions pouring pop, worked in 1st aid with Healthspan as an EMT, Got my RN license and joined Safety Services in 1999. Worked as a site walker and as the nurse in 1st aid [that has lead people to call me nursieboy]. My favorite saying is "Don't make me treat you."

Jennifer Hensley, MN Herpetological Society Nifer Cottage Mistress I started festival in 2003, came out with my boyfriend and fell in love with Como Cottage and the Animals and have been there ever since. My Character runs Como Cottage with the help of the Cottage Mom and my Co-Chair. I have not gone further with my character creation at this time as I have been so busy making sure the cottage runs smoothly. I love all animals and can be found almost all the time at the cottage. I have been coming out to Fest since I was a little kid... even at that age I was dragging my parents to sword shops and such... in 2004 I became part of the cast and while it took some time to get my feet wet it has all been uphill ever since! I fell in love with the people and the magic that the fair brings and it will always be a big part of my life. Outside of fest I work security at Anime Cons and run my own small business making yarn creations (if you were out last year and saw the cat man with the big balls and wondered where they came from... yeah that was me makin' those), and I also am going back to school to work on a forensic science/criminology degree.

My character, Ann has a nasty habit of ruining things when it comes to her husbands' potions and spells and it was because of such that their son Binx was transformed into a cat! Though Binx is happy in his new found form, Ann has felt awful since it happened and is always looking for ways to fix her beloved son despite his protests and the fact her husband doesn't like her using magic hence why she sneaks away all the time! But when she is not trying to find cures for her son, Ann spends time shopping with the last of the family wealth which was left to her by her late father, making yarn toys for Binx (we're the ones with the big yarn balls), and trying to learn how to be a better noble (after all, being married to a wizard can jumble one's manners a bit).

I've been going to festival almost every year since '95 it my favorite place to go during the year! I'm going to start going multiple times next year especially since I've completed my outfit and most of my friends started their's this year! Huzzah for ren fest.

I started MRF when i was 8 years old (1995). I volunteered at WindRose Mill, and when i was 10 i started working as a paper whench. You can find me making paper in the afternoons, when the head paper maker is done with her official demos. In the real world i am a student at The College of St.Catherine. Going for my ASL/Interpreter degree. I graduated highschool in 2004. I currently am cleaning houses when i am not at school. I also pet sit, and baby sit.
