Andrea Sakry, Street Lady Katherine I started working Fest in 2000. I worked for CKC for 2 years. I finally
got some guts and did entertainment in 2002 as part of the Peacock Players.
I was also an extra in the Chess game. This year, 2003, I'm once again
in the Chess game playing a nun (don't laugh too much!). I also got the
opportunity to work with the Baroness Elora as her hand maiden, a job
I hope to have for years to come. |

Lynn Salisbury, Shakopee JC's ~ High
Sheriff's Pub Raven (Pub Wench works just as well <LOL>) I started working fest in 1999. I was just a patron the year before when I came out with my boyfriend (Chris Helmick - better known as Swift) who used to work the King's Stocks. In 99 I was a pub wench in High Sheriff's right next to the stocks. Since I have black hair (not proving it though) and wear mostly black costumes I chose the name Raven. Raven is an only child of lower class merchants. She was put into service in a pub many, many moons ago. She can now serve with the best of them and has made quite a decent living for herself as a respectable pub wench. In 2000 I will once again be serving beer to the masses. I also make simple fest costumes for the JC's (volunteer stock) and for friends. |

Rachael Salisbury,
Musician ~ The Dregs
1978 was my first fest, and played with some of my St. Paul Open School
classmates for the next few years on fest grounds. When I moved back to
the Twin Cities in 1996, I started attending regularly and in 2003 I helped
out at Ye Olde Doll Chest. I enjoyed my tenure as a shop slave for Olde
World Wear and MacGregor Historical Games, but failed to keep my singing
to myself, and ended up (appropriately) a Dreg. You can find me bossing
people around and whining when Im not singing while at Macs

Bobby E. Samon, Shop Worker ~ Felix Needleworthy Gabrielle St. James This is my second time at MRF, the first time as a patron and now as
an employee at Felix Needleworthy's Shop. My twenty plus year friend Robert
Schug (Prince Pluff), referred me to Felix when he was looking for a extra
employee for this year. |

Nick Sampson, Street Captain Maxwell Drake My first year of Festival is 2009. I have much experiencein theater.
And over six years of experience as a professional wrestler, that involves
alot of improve and crowd interaction. I opeted to remove the physical
part of it and put more of an emphasis on my character. I have been going
to the festival since the mid 90's and always felt I was a part of it
more than a patron. It has always been part of me to entertain people
most of my life. I enjoy making people laugh and smile. |

Tabitha Schaak Lady Zipporah I am known as Lady Zipporah, a lady of sorts anyway. I attended fest as a patron twice, on separate years, and by some strange twist of fate, I was suddenly working as a volunteer. By an even stranger twist the owner of Children's Trilogy, "Bob the peasant," decided it was to much for him to run anymore so it was given to myself, Don, and another couple. By another twist they are unable to work at fest anymore. By a well timed blessing I found out I was pregnant and due less than a month after the '99 season and again this happened so I was due 4 months after the 2000 season would end. So blessed be we now have 2 beautiful baby girls named Vashti Marie and Genevieve Naoma. Now I am working with the Jaycees as a beer wench which I do quite well (come over and play!). I'm also married to a tall gorgeous guy, Cory, with 2 more great kids Nathan and Briana. I'll be there just a few days this season(03) But I'll be back I tell ya, I'll be back. ;) |

Linda Schaeffer, Street Started in '98. Started in Royal Court, went to street, now I am an Irish
pirate that actually exsisted in the mid 1500's, one of the most successful
female pirates. Was well educated and very business savy. Even obtained
a pardon from Queen Elizabeth despite raiding English ships. I can be
seen everywhere. Not much to say about my personal life, if you want to
get to know me, come and find me. |

Ann Schanfield, Musician ~ flutist ~ March
Molly Hares & Terpsichory Dance Troupe Melody Ann I have been attending the festival for 4 years as a patron, but this year will be entertaining as a flutist. I am really excited to begin this adventure into an era gone by with so many talented people who are becoming my friends. You can find me in the streets and near shops tooting my flute and interacting with patrons. So come and listen to beautiful music and be inspired. |

Terrance Schaffer, Musician Sir Terrance of Quickbag - Lord Kieran Quinn McCloy Started hanging at Festival back in 1977, only to become an active playtron
by 1990. In 1996 I got married in the chapel before it blew down and before

Former Festie ~ Royal Guard Sir James Stewert. Sergent H.M.R.G. (Retired) Oh, I think it was back in 88 with Clant Tartan. Then I worked Pavillion
Stage before getting Loius and Don drunk enough to let me in the Royal
Guard. For a time it truly was the "best and worst of times",
and am proud of my affiliation with the Guard and all those who who touched
my life. I can now be found amongst the Royal 42nd highlanders. |

Jeffrey Schiltgen, Street Duke of Anjou, Knight of the Order of Honorable Companions, his Excellence the French Ambassador The Duke of Anjou has arrived at the Festival to once again promote peace, love, and the joy of bonbons! He carries with him his mobile French Embassy, referred to by many as a "big blue box with wheels". What dainty treats are hidden within the mysterious confines of this Fleur-de-Lis-covered wagon? Will the Queen discover the secrets of the Embassy, or will Anjou continue to wiggle his way out of trouble? Will his plans go wrong? Can they ever go right.... The Duke can be found anywhere, at anytime. He may be singing silly French songs, he may be "Ambassadizing", he may be playing Badminton, and he may occasionally occupy Bad Manor for "office space"...but rest assured he will always be ready to greet you with a heartfelt "Sacre Bleu"! au revoir! jeffrey_schiltgen@yahoo.com

Elizabeth Schlesky,
Mayor's Entourage Eliza Black My rookie season with the Festival is/was the 2003 season, and though my character started the run as an actress, that profession was unceremoniously tossed out the window upon my realizing it wasn't working. Now that she has fully realized her passion (read: obsession) of fans, Cienya (Ciecie for short) can be found traipsing about the realm with Isabelle at her side: her biggest fan and faithful companion. To fulfill her love for singing, dancing, and relaxation, she can also be found at singing lessons with the Mayor's Entourage, dancing the Spangoletta, and stopping by to play with the mayor's (Bocce) balls when the spirit moves her. Outside of the Festival, I am currently attending the University of Minnesota, studying to be a Mechanical Engineer. My husband of one year is a Computer Technician, and is not currently involved with the Fest (though, if you're in the market for a new computer, e-mail me, 'cause Best Buy charges too much!) ok! Think I've babbled enough. See ya on the streets! ~Liz a.k.a. Cienya "The Fan Lady" |

Emily Schminke,
Irish Cottage Linaeve the Irish Harper When I was younger, I visited the festival with a friend and even now
if I were to try to summon up the memories, I have a very difficult time
doing so. By mere fluke, chance and luck, I find myself working for the
festival years later. I started at the festival in 2003 as a terrible
harper who only knew five songs and was a nervous wreck whenever I had
to perform for people. I returned in 2004 as a new, improved festie with
confidence and enthusiasm. You can find me mostly between the Pavilion
to the Bakery Stage and between Irish Cottage and Unicorn Stage. The festival
has changed my personality and made me new. Now, there is no place on
earth I'd rather be! |

Robert Schmid, Royal Falconer's Stage Master Robert I started at Renfest in 87 with completely ill-formed ideas about what might make a good character. By the second weekend, due to my poor self-image I fell in with a bad crowd - a struggling thieves guild. During the day I worked for the Royal Falconer, but on my free time... well, let's just say I've put that behind me. For the next couple of years I dedicated myself to the thieves guild (and other shenanigans) before it seemed to vanish forever. Then tragedy struck - law school. My journey to the Dark Side was complete and by 96 I had earned the title Esquire. (Not the good kind mind you, the one they give to lawyers.) And so I came back, begging for my old job with the Royal Falconer where I have been ever since. Last year, I had the distinct honor of doing the show in his place since he was stuck in Texas from back surgery. After that I could happily retire from amateur theater forever. For me, no part on stage or in court will ever match being able to stand in that arena and share the stage with such beauty as Rocket, winner of the Best Entertainer of the Meadows award for 1999. (I'm working on site for the show - I'll get his picture up soon.) rschmid@skypoint.com |

Steven Schneider, Former Festie ~ Shop Worker I started the MRF in '00 over the Labor Day weekend. Error and a strong case of alcohol made me decide to move to Florida with my family.
