Lindsey Lechner, Games Worker
I have been going to Fest for the past four years (and a couple when
I was younger). The last three out of the four I dressed up in costume.
Last year my mother said that she knew this lady at work who knows the
people who run the Children's Games and said that I might be able to volunteer
there. Sure enough I got in contact with them and I worked there all last
year (2006) and I am volunteering there again this year (2007). |

Matt Ledder,
Street The Dread Poet Leslie / Arlecchino Hello! My working life at the Renaissance Festival started in 2006, when I volunteered for a day at the Thatchentree. I had such a great time that I had to come back! I've been a street performer since 2007. You can find me in the lanes either as the peasant known as the Dread Poet Leslie, or playing the character Arlecchino with the I Arroganti Commedia troupe. (Fun Fest Fact: The 'Friar Tock's: Baron of Beef' stand was built by
my great uncle, whose last name was Tock. So no, it was not a spelling
error!) DreadPoetLeslie@yahoo.com |

Caryn Lengkeek, Manager of the music
kiosk and Troubadour Stage Lady Crayon I was once of the nobility but alas have fallen on hard times when my
father lost his money, lands, and then his mind. Now I am the personal
shopper for Princess Rhiannon, Duchess of Somerset but am willing to spend
almost anyone's money if given the opportunity. At the MRF, I'm the manager
of the music kiosk and Troubadour Stage. I work for the musicians who
play at MRF. |

Carin Leonard, Mishka Solsulka, Mistress of Winter Carin was a newbie at Fest in 2002, playing Mishka Sosulka, the Winter faerie (or as patrons call her ""the blue faerie", "the faerie princess", or "are you trying to be Galedriel from The Lord of the Rings?" (Did Galedriel have wings?!). And OF COURSE that's her real hair! She's lived and acted around the Twin Cities for the past three years. Believe it or not, that's her in the United Way commercial, but no, the United Way did not help her find child care for her non-existent children. She has her BA in drama/speech with a music minor from Clarke College in Dubuque, IA. Now on to faerie ping pong! |

Jessica Lerbs, Former Festie Sasha (Alexandra Sergeevna Petrova) I was at the MRF from 1998-2002. My first year I won the Cracked Cup.
Daughter of a Russian boyar (they were a merchant class who eventually
worked their way into the nobility, starting with one of the daughters'
marriage to Ivan IV [The Terrible] in the 16th Century, coincidentally).
Spoiled youngest daughter traveling with her father, "living it up"
until she has to go home. Yes, this means peasants are just as fascinating
as anything else (rich Russian women in this period didn't get out much). |

In my current life I work at MacGregor games and have a parttime(read visiting)contract at the Irish Cottage. I love that I get to go off and play around when I'm not at the booth. For that matter all I do at the booth is play.:) |

Nora Leverson, Playtron I started attending as a patron in 1987, which is the year I started
my dragon goblet collection. Since then my attendance has snowballed from
once a season to now when I go at least one day a weekend during the season.
Lately I've been going as a playtron as well, mainly to help out the Minnesota
Coalition of Scottish Clans on Highland Fling Weekend, but also just with
friends. I'll also go as a patron with my more normal friends. Either
way, I enjoy it enough to have been a season pass owner for going on four
years. I usually start getting "there sick" for Fest sometime
in January. channain@yahoo.com |

Kirsten Levisen,
Former Festie ~ Bakery Stage Isabelle Maria Panini I joined MRF in 1992 as a fiesty beer wench. In 1994 I became one of the Bakery Stage's voluptuous seven sisters. As a one of the women in pink, I can be seen creating culinary masterpieces (sometimes referred to as experiments) over the wood fires on the bakery stage. |
