Emily Kramer, Playtron & Costumer
Lady Emily, Shakespeare's Seamstress, Costumer

Originally from the Bristol Renaissance Faire, I moved up north and have been attending MRF since 2000. I am a costumer, and have made Princess Alexandra's dresses (Lynn Kissock, my roommate), various costume pieces for Lady Constance from Shakespeare's Love Child, my own garb, and many various playtrons. In Hudson, WI, I run a custom sewing and formal wear shop. You can see me just about anywhere at Fest, because I wander about looking for adventure.

I started work at MRF in ‘83 in a CKC pop booth and progressed up the ladder to become the CKC Personnel Director after Tootie Schultz left. I worked in areas 200 then 800 and 100 before managing area 600 in front of the joust track, becoming assistant personnel director, then personnel Director. I was laid off in Jan ‘95. I still attend the Festival almost every year and am a member of the Shakopee Jaycees. I occasionally work for Puke and Snot at the Maryland Festival.

Natasha Jo Krentz, Terpsichory Dance Troupe
Tatalya

My Character: Natalya is the daughter of a Russian Aristocrat and has been sent to England to study. As music and management are key items in the education of a female in my station, I keep myself occupied by helping do the math for my group and by playing court music for the Terpsichory Dance Troupe and the dancing for the Royal Court.

Character Development: I do actually know some Russian (and Spanish) and would be more than willing to help anyone learn some phrases, etc to help make their character that much deeper. And, I would absolutely love some help with costuming. I would like to put together a truly "Russian" outfit and an Egyptian temple dancer outfit. I would also like to 'perfect' my Celtic outfit. So if you know anything about these areas/cultures, I'd love to hear from you.

Myself: I graduated from Iowa State University in August 2005 and am currently living in Burnsville and working in Edina/Hopkins. In the past, I have been very involved in rocketry, astronomy, swing dancing, lego league, jazz band (saxophone), choir, etc., and I would love to be involved with similar things up here.

TJ Kudalis, Street
Smokey

I started Festival in 2001 as a member of Fire Inc. Halfway through that first season, I fell face first into a puddle of mud and never got out. Smokey can be seen at Vilification Tennis, Ales & Tales (the Smoker), and on the street. He is not allowed in the house.

Marsha Kocur, MRF Grounds Crew

I started working at Festival in 1995~ weekends at 1240 Travelers. In 1996, I came out to help Nancy for a week or two and haven't left yet! My friends decided I ran away and joined the "circus". They still want to know if I'm ever going to get a real job again. Obviously, its the people I work with & as Nan says, our "family" that keeps me here also. Thanks to all of you for being the special people you are.
