Our official patron (for real!) is Her Majesty, the Queen, who has given us the right to use the title "Royal" in our name. Our group was officially founded in 1975 (but had been around informally since about 1970) to practice, preserve, and pass on the art of Scottish country dancing.

This is the traditional ballroom/social dancing of Scotland done by everyone from the peasant and working classes to the nobility. We hold classes, social dances, and perform year round.
