| MRF-MAP Fund Raiser |
During the run of the Minnesota Ren Faire, my partner, Steven Wilson, and I, Robert Schug, Their Royal Highnesses: Puph & Phluff, run a fundraiser. The beneficiary of our fundraiser is the Minnesota Aids Project (MAP). You can see their work at: http://www.mnaidsproject.org/
During the summer before the Faire, people earn comp tickets for the MRF through participation in parades and other promotions for the MRF. What we do is accept donations of people's comp tickets and trade them for donations to MAP. Through the generous donations of countless festies and patrons (both tickets and cash) and the work of Sherry Roth, Christina Neitz, Lori Dahlstrom, & many others, we are able to make substantial contributions to a most deserving cause.
So if you have tickets that you can give, please let me know and I'll be collecting them. Likewise, if you have a source of people willing to buy tickets, I'll be your ticket supplier when I can.
